Robot Explorers launches for resort kids' clubs
TalentedChild now offers Robot Explorers, a three-day robotics programme for resort kids' clubs across the Maldives.
Young guests aged 7–12 build a working robot, programme its movements, and complete practical team challenges — no previous robotics or coding experience required.
What children do
- Day 1 — Build Your Robot: meet the robot's main components, assemble a mobile robot in pairs, and test basic movement and steering.
- Day 2 — Programme Your Robot: use child-friendly visual blocks to create instructions for movement and direction, then test and improve them in a guided navigation mission.
- Day 3 — Robot Games Challenge: programme a robot through an obstacle course, solve problems as a team, and present the work at a parent showcase.

For resorts
The programme runs 90 minutes per day for three days, with groups of 8–12 children, at US$100 per participating child (minimum booking: 8 children). It works entirely indoors, complements existing kids' club activities, and concludes with a parent-facing showcase.
Resorts provide an air-conditioned indoor venue, tables and chairs, reliable electricity and drinking water, and one kids' club team member per session.
